    Description

    Selling (2) Tokoname Meiji Period Red Clay Dragon Antique Vases:
    Vase #1 is 12" tall and 6" across the widest area and 4 3/8" diameter at the foot ring. Vase #2 is 10" tall and 6" in width. Weight is approximately 2 lbs for each vase.
    Hand crafted
    Vases are made of red clay and have an embossed-bulbous body that is raised on three applied Dragons, snaking around cloud motifs. The feet
    are resting on a round base. The middle of the body is decorated in relief with a dragon that has some of its parts covered by
    the clouds. The rest of the vases are decorated with key frets, flowers, geometric designs and other details.
    No unusual marks, "House-mark stamps or signatures" found at the bottom of each.
    These vases are sold as a pair, both come with carved rosewood bases
