    Vase is 9.75 inches tall and is 2.625 inches across the bottom
    Depiction of scholar and students
    Iron red with muted colors and gilding
    Fan handles with rings and tassels
    Has the fine crazing that is indicative of being authentic Satsuma; no cracks or chips; the gilding has worn in the expected places
    There is a red mark on the rim of the bottom, but it is too worn to read
