Up for bids is an antique Kutani vase or censer comprised of two pieces, the vessel and stand.  Signed on the base, as pictured.  Mounted as a table lamp.
It is of a monumental size.  The pottery or porcelain portion is 18 inches high and has a maximum diameter of 12 inches.  Overall height of the lamp is 36 inches. This piece weighs 26 pounds!
CONDITION:  Very good antique condition.  I do not see any cracks, chips, or restorations.  Light expected age wear to some of the overglaze gold decoration upon close inspection.  One of the caps on the electrical part of the light fixture is a bit darker and is a replacement.
