    Red unglazed Clay or Terracotta.
    Finest enameled ornamentation throughout
    Lion head handles
    Hand formed three-toed dragon on body
    Chrysanthemum flowers, a symbol of Japanese Imperial power
    Paper tag on underside, as well as a character stamp
    Tokoname pottery, Imperial ware
    Meiji-period Japan, late 19th century
