    Description

    Unusual Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) Satsuma Vase with fine decorations.
    It depicts 2 big decorative shields,- one with 9 boys and a landscape, and another side with two men (one with a bowl with a smoke) and images with three saints on the upper right corner, with a landscape with houses and mountings and pine trees on the background.
    Two smaller shields have flying birds and floral decorations.
    The vase has beautiful symbolic decorations with 2 fan-shaped shields. One with two quails and another one with a samurai, a boy, and a duck.
    The Vase is in good condition, there is a tiny bake hairline which is almost invisible and does not effect the beauty of the vase.
    It is 6 7/8" tall x 4 7/8" D
