    COPPER PRINTER'S ADVERTISING TYPE BLOCK ~
    "ELGIN WATCHES"
    Neat old copper printer's type block advertising Elgin watches.
    The copper is mounted on a wood block.
    This was from an old print shop that went out of business in Bay City, Michigan.
    The copper says ELGIN WATCHES at the bottom and has 2 rings in the design.
    The square at the upper corner advertises~ Precious Stones, Jewelry, Silverware, Clocks & Elgin Watches.
    The block is 2" tall X 2-1/2" long.
    I made an imprint in ink so that you could see the design more clearly.
    As you can see there is a ding in the L on the bottom.
    Great for a watch collector or jeweler that has everything else.
    Nice piece of American industrial past.
