Description:  This is a scale model of the Giant Beaver (Castoroides ohioensis) of the Ice Age Pleistocene. This beaver was about the size of a bear.  Sculpted by me-Mike Eischen.  Very Rare and very hard to find!  Science now claims this animal didn’t have a flat tail like the modern beaver and a more muskrat like tail.  I decided to sculpt a similar tail to keep it accurate.  Perfect model for your fossil or prehistoric collection.
