"THE BEACH, ROSSES POINT AND BEN BULBEN MOUNTAIN:
Five miles from Sligo town lies the small seaside resort of Rosses Point.
The 18-hole links of the County Sligo Golf Club has often been the venue
for Irish Professional Championships. Offshore is Coney Island, which, it is said, gave
the name to the well-known island in the United States. Dominating the background
is the great flat-topped mountain of Ben Bulben, the centre piece of the Yeats Country."
