Vintage colored illustrated postcard with a view of the mythical Kate Kearneyoffering male travelers a drink near Killarney, Kerry, Ireland.
Illustration by John Carey (initials JC in lower left).
Dark caption reads, "Gap of Dunloe, Killarney, 'Did ye ever hear tell of Kate Kearney?'
with a verse above,
"From the smile of her eye

Card No. 3212 published in the Woodbury Series. Logo at top, address side, features a round tower and the motto "An Sean Tir go Deo".
Split back; used, posted from Athenry 1908 to Lowell MA USA.
Inked note reads,
