    Description

    This listing is for a very fine miniature Satsuma vase.  It was made by Kinkozan and is marked with the Kinkozan signature on the base.  It is the smallest Kinkozan vase I have ever encountered.  It is approximately 2 1/2" tall and it is in excellent condition.  The exquisite had painted design on the vase is expertely done.  The middle band shows 24 elaborately dressed men and women engaged in various activities such as card and game playing and tea ceremonies.  The bottom band depicts 30 items used in these activities.  The top band shows a variety birds, butterflies and other insects.  Bordering the three bands on the top and bottom are finely painted geometric designs.
