    Description

This is a very Rare in mint condition Kinkozan "Flying Crane" Teapot and covered sugar bowl.  Meiji Period. c.1870
When I acquired the Teapot and sugar bowl it came with the newspaper clippings.  I pass them on to you.
No cracks. No knicks or chips.  In antique MINT condition.  The cranes and butterflies seem like they are lifting off the pottery.
Both pieces are signed in red.  The sugar bowl signature is fading towards the end. On top of the sugar bowl looks like smudges
alongside the butterflies but is instead gold gilt decoration like sponging.
Japanese teapots of the Edo and early Meiji Period are stunning works of craft and art.
Will be carefully wrapped box within box.
