Try one of our new Aircraft Grade Aluminum Tremolo Blocks! They are
super lightweight (3OZ.) VS (10 OZ.)
and give your guitar a great edge to the tone with a bite and awesome string to string definition! The sustain is as good as you will get with a Brass Block but the tone is a little brighter and this is a good way to lighten up your tremolo. This aluminum is super sturdy and is made to KGC specs - which means the function and finish are perfection! Comes with (3) extra-long Stainless Steel mounting screws and mirror-polished bottom side!
The sound you get from the aluminum block is generally described as somewhere between brass and steel - steel being very shrill and icy and brass being sweet and warmer - the KGC aluminum block gives you a sound that is edgy and somewhat metallic yet it does have some warmth. Very smooth and articulate feel with fairly balanced lows, mids and highs. Makes for a great combination with a KGC Brass Plate, Killer Brass Saddles and Killer Brass Claw!
Includes KGC's proprietary Flop-Stop for maximum stability on your tremolo arm - no need for that little spring - and the arm not only stays in place where you leave it, but also is easily nudged away.  This has been one of the best selling points with our customers for many years now.  A proven, simple design that simply works.
