Massive Antique Archaic Trumpet Vase Cloisonné Champleve Enamel Vessel made in 19th Century.
PLEASE NOTE:
If you look closely you will see there is actually applied wire in many areas, look at the photo with the damage especially. The artist seemed to use different forms of applying the decorations given you see applied wire in some areas and then the use of open areas similar open work. This is a rather elegant piece.
Listing is for the single vase and it was made in Japan's Meiji Period (January 25, 1868 – July 30, 1912)
The Trumpet Vase is about 36" inches Tall without the stand.
The lacquered rosewood stand can be purchased at an additional cost.
PLEASE NOTE
The piece is in good condition for its age; There is a normal wear and pitting given it's age see photos, along with some oxidation and enamel loss in a few spots which is common with these pieces. Also please note the photo with damage to edge of the midsection; this area doesn't really detract from the piece given you have to look hard for it. This item is sold as is.
