This listing is of SEVEN pre-decimal coins of New Zealand. A partial type set of historic coins covering three decades and representing three  sovereigns. The following coins are included in this set:

In terms of currency, New Zealand used British coinage for a long time until its own was introduced in 1930's. All coins of NZ were struck in Great Britain but for circulation in NZ and with distinct designs. The new currency followed the classic British Pound system, i.e. a Half Crown coin = Two Shillings and Six Pence in terms of face value, One Florin = Two Shillings, One Shilling = 12 Pence, etc. Please review pictures and item description very carefully.
