The Killer Compensated Claw.
This design is inspired by Carl Verheyen of Supertramp.  After seeing this video and doing some research ourselves, we decided to contact Carl directly and work on a design for a pre-compensated tremolo claw that helps to balance your string and spring tension as Carl describes in the video below.

Don't fall for the scams out there trying to sell you brass claws that are made from sheet and just bent - they will not hold up - and they simply won't give you the tonal upgrade that the Killer Claw will. There are also now cheap milled Chinese brass claws that they didn't even bother to mill the claw fingers at an angle - one of the most difficult parts of machining this part! The theory is that  in order to increase sustain and get the true tone of the wood in the body of your guitar you need the best "string-bridge-body" connection possible. This devise increases that connection and is precision machined from a solid billet of brass one at a time,

The Killer Claw includes a solder-free, heat shrink lug !
No need for a soldering gun!
Just put the wire into the connector, crimp and shrink the tubing with a lighter or heat gun.  Easy as can be!
1 3/8" Mounting Hole Spacing - Fits any tremolo with just a few exceptions -   Directly replaces any standard aftermarket such as Gotoh®, Wilkinson®, Floyd Rose etc---will not fit "Mann Made" PRS tremolos.
Includes (2) Brass Phillips oval head mounting Screws 1 1/2" long - these may be too short for some players' setup, so we are now including (2) 1 3/4" Stainless Screws as well.
BE CAREFUL!!!  Those other guys are offering "Brass Claw Mounting Screws" - yes, they are brass and are the correct length - But they are the wrong type of screw!  You are almost guaranteed to have either issues with hangup on the claw or issues with the screw stripping out.  Claw screws should be OVAL head - not Flat Head!  It does matter.  Unfortunately, 1-3/4" Oval head brass screws in this size do not exist anywhere on earth - so, we offer 1-1/2" brass and 1-3/4" Stainless - both are great options but the 1-1/2" may be too short for some setups.  So, there ya go.  Be careful what you buy from those other "Tone" guys - they aren't doing their research.  They simply pay some shop to make knockoff parts in brass, titanium etc - you could do that!!!  Here at KGC we are our own custom shop. We make all KGC parts right here in our own shop in Gloucester, MA.
