Item:
Vintage Ken Doll as identified in  "The Ultimate Barbie Doll Book" by Marcie Melillo.
Manufacturing markings on doll's backside read: Ken T.M. / Pats. Pend / © MCMLX / by / Mattel / Inc. There's another mfg marking on the other side of his backside that reads: 4 and one on the bottom of his right foot that reads: Japan.
Ken is made of vinyl, jointed at head, shoulders and hips, with factory straight legs that are not designed to bend. He has his original painted facial features and molded / painted brunette "hair".
Included with doll is his original red and white striped jacket. Its manufacturing tag reads: Ken T.M. / by Mattel. No other Ken items.
Listing for 1 vintage Ken doll (blond) + jacket as shown - No other Ken items, stand, mfg box / packaging or other items included.
Condition:
DOLL in sound basic condition, but not perfect, as he's vintage / previously owned, thus sold "as is".
His facial features look good, although there are soiling and dirt specks on face / head. Painted / molded hair has a small rub / color loss at the front hairline. No nose nips, green, neck splits, pin holes in head / face.
Ken has assorted scratches, scuffs & overall soiling from age and play. There's engrained grime on arms & legs from age & play + red stains on both arms. Both arms hold a pose, although not tightly. All fingers intact. He can't stand on his own (needs a doll stand for that, which isn't included). All toes intact.
No perfume, air freshener or smoke scents to doll, there's a faint soapy scent and some mustiness from age & being stored away.
JACKET is sound, but sold "as is". White collar and inner lining is dingy with fabric pilling / soiling. There's overall soiling to jacket + some stains, loose hanging threads, wrinkles & some frays on interior. Jacket has a factory flaw in that the white collar / facing is not even on each side (intrinsic). No perfume, air freshener or smoke scents, there's a soap scent.

Colors of doll & jacket in person may differ somewhat from listing photos, as all computer monitors have color differences. Stand not included. We leave any restoration, cleaning, etc. of items to you.
