Vintage Nabisco Shreddies Dinosaur Complete Set (Lipton Tea Dinosaurs)

Description

This is a complete set of New Zealand production 'Shreddies' dinosaurs. The Nabisco factory in Grey Lynn, Auckland produced these in December 1962 in Blue, brown, green, grey, pink, red, white, and yellow using the Lipton Tea moulds of 12 figures. They were released in Kornies and Weeties cereal.
Though the German Wagners set which preceded these was a set of 20, when they were remoulded for the Nabisco factories they were a set of only 12. I purchased this set from a local cereal box toy collector who managed to get the complete set of them when the factory shut down, so these ones were never in circulation and are thus in mint condition.
