I can't tell if the head says 1987 or 1989. I did read this Steven style doll was produced in 1988, so I am thinking this should be 1989. Love the totally late 80's style clothes on him!     Vintage Original Mattel Black African American Steven / Ken Male Barbie Doll 1989

    This came to me as you see it out of a bin.  He is a bit dusty and could use a cleaning, but otherwise appears to be in good used / played with condition.  I can't tell if the head says 1987 or 1989.  I did read this Steven style doll was produced in 1988, so I am thinking this should be 1989.  Love the totally late 80's style clothes on him!   Please see the pictures
