    1860s unissued stock certificate for the Wheatley Dramatic Association out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Nice theater graphic at the center. Lithography by E. Herline out of Philadelphia. The Wheatley Dramatic Association was a Philadelphia amateur theater group, organized in April 1860, incorporated February 12, 1869, and disbanded in 1880. They performed at Wheatley Dramatic Hall (named for actor William Wheatley) at Fifth and Gaskill Streets (511 S. Fifth St.) in Philadelphia.
